Safety and Security/Access Control System
Access Control Systems is implemented at every point where it is a requirement to control the persons coming in and out.
In the prospect of fitting the best system to the needs of the customers, three different systems are available to fit the requirements of your application:
Small business solution where 1 up to 16 readers are required to operate doors:
Those systems are standalone, and can be interconnected, might ether have software running on a linked PC with a control over the database, or can be programmed using special cards or a keyboards directly linked to the controller.
Whenever a PC is used for the data management, we highly recommend linking to the Human Resources application, allowing the Access Control system to be used as a time attendance as well.
Mediums sized enterprise systems where one up to 128 readers are required to operate doors:
Generally chosen for access control by customers, an average sized system will be able to handle more transactions in its memory, providing system expansion and centralization of site: a company with its headquarters in a city will be able to control its different shops around the country using standard phone lines, or even handle controllers via TCP-IP that is going through the internet around the world. Basic Input output modules are implemented in such systems, allowing interaction with the BMS of the premises. in such scenarios, lights can be turned on and off, air control might run, or even the CCTV might be triggered allowing high level of security.
Large sized enterprise systems where the number of readers required is above 128:
Using the state of the art in access control, systems provided by DHAS for such applications offer all the needs of a real building protection for high end security. Military, governmental or high risk companies (petrol, gas...) would think of implementing such systems allowing full and unlimited control on all movements running in their premises, or premises which would be linked to the main system. Such systems would as well be recommended for multi-company shared building, where one unique system would be fitted, reducing sensibly the cost per company, wile not compromising the security of its employees and assets.
Biometrics:
Biometrics are integrated to the mid-sized and large size systems. the world of biometrics today is the most secure way to control personnel accessing special area.
There are many means offered by DHAS to fit the high end security required: Finger scan, one of the oldest technologies, or palm recognition are the most required one for small applications such as time attendance. But when high end identification for Access Control is required, DHAS Engineers will have the pleasure to offer assistance in systems such as Voice, Face or Iris recognition.
The use of access control is very wide. From a simple gate in a private parking, to highly secure military facilities, the identification of the persons is always at the service of the human being. Used in hospital to tag the patients, it is the best way to keep track of the person’s position at any time, making sure they are always in secured areas. Other use of access control can be to access the lobby of an ATM money distributor, using only the bank credit card. This use of access control is the best solution for securing people as they withdraw money.
Armed with more than 25 years of experience in access control, DHAS engineers always stay up to date with high tech news to study your needs in order to implement the best system to fit.
